I've run into a Planet Quality bug after loading a saved game. So, last night I started my first 1.1 (final) game. I had researched Soil Enhancement and Habitat Improvement, bumping several of my planets from a PQ of 6 up to a PQ of 8 and a few others from a PQ of 10 to a PQ of 12. I saved the game at that point and quit out to windows. About an hour later, I relaunched the game and loaded the save. Much to my suprise, all those planets that had raised their PQ were back at their default value. So my planet that was originally a PQ of 6, raised to a PQ of 8 via technologies was now back down to a PQ of 6. Even worse, the Maximum Population was capped as if the planet was a PQ of 6. Now, when I counted the useable tiles, there were still 8 useable tiles on the planet, so none of my improvements were lost.
I had hoped that this was just a display bug with the PQ, but unfortunately, it will actually change the maximum population of the planet. I can send in the saved game if Stardock needs it, but this bug has been around since v1.0 and is really easy to recreate.
