1.1 I can't save or use my ship designs anymore

This must just be me because I don't see anyone else complaining, but since going to 1.1, I cannot save or even use any of my ship designs. I can start from an existing ship or from scratch, name it, click"save", but it never shows up in my list of ships to build! Not in the individual planets shipyard, or the master shipyard, or the shipyard governor... Any Ideas?

Nope. Works fine for me. Try the update again, manually maybe?

Depending on what version you upgraded from, ship designs from earlier verisons aren't compatible.

Try manually deleting all of your designs in My Documents>My Games>GalCiv2>Ships. With the additions to the ship creator a lot of earlier stuff was broken; it's possible old designs are causing unforseen wonkiness.

I just started having the same problem. But for me it just started randomly, and is now not saving ship designs or upgraded ships that I have saved in previous games. One game it was working perfectly, I started another right after, and now its not saving ....

in terms of upgrading ships, if i recall, the "useful" components are removed so that you may easily upgrade the ship.
