I am sure that I read somewhere that the references to humanity in the research screens (e.g. 'Since our first contact with Arceans with have focused on energy weapons...' And 'Under a Galactic Democracy etc. Earth's colonies gain an inceasing amount of freedom', also the technological victory: ''The descedants of those who first reseached Hyperdrive now reseach the ultimate technology...') were going to be removed. They are still there in the 1.1 patch.
Basically it's not like it changes the game, just that it does not add to the immersion (my custom race never met the Arceans yet! And what if I am playing the Arceans!!)
Also when I getting the Declaration of War vote the screen says 'We are going to vote in starting a war against the %s' insted of saying the actual game.
And the Drengin sometimes refer to themselves as: 'The [shortname] admit blabla'
And I just wanted to take the opportunity to say that putting aside these minor glitches, the patch is GREAT! Congrats to the developers!
