Economic Victory?

I wonder if it makes an interesting gameplay addition to have an economic victory as well?
here's several ideas for what constitutes an "economic victory":
1) a simple straightforward "Amass xx gazillion of bc's in treasury", like tech victory. it is not as straightforward though, because treasury will fluctuate, whereas technological progress is always upgoing, or static at worst.
2) "establish trade routes with every major civs"? might make a shorter gamespan though... and seems more straightforward than #1 in execution.
3) "reach an income rate of xx gazillion bc's per turn" kinda more convoluted variation of #1 perhaps, so less fun maybe?
4) bankrupt every other civs, muhuhahahaa... how? use your creativity
5) become the galaxy's ultimate speculator/banker... lets say, we have the beyond stock market improvement , a galactic investment/loan ctr or sth, which grants us the ability to loan funds to other civs... like, WE become the mitrosoft, united builders etc for them. the goal is then probably to control xx percentage of the market share or sth.
