Crash when starting mission 4 of campaign

Hi, done a search and can't find any reference to this.

Game crashes to desktop when trying to start mission 4. Any one else had this / fixed it?

If you have not updated already, please update to the latest version. If that does not fix your problem, please post your debug.err file (located in your galciv2 program folder: C:\program files\stardock\totalgaming\galciv2 )

I have the same problem (can't remember that crash with version 1.0).

Try setting your regional/language settings to US English (European number formats can cause problems with GC2, which expects numbers in the data files to be formatted the same as the system's default.

That doesn't help. Missions 1 - 3 works fine with german settings.
Something more I noticed: Between Missions 3 and 4 I have to edit the properties of my race, they were reset to the default settings.. is this normal? Can someone check this? And when I press the Continue-Button the game crashes to the desktop.

i played the campaign recently, and had a glitch between 3 and 4, where instead of loading 4, it would load endgame3 for a couple of turns, then 4 started up. weird.
