Radical Proposal: A Print Function in a Strategy Game

I don't know if I have ever seen this in a game, but what about this?

Have the program be able print out a list of planets--particularly unowned or foreign--particularly
with sector numbers.

Right now I spend time writing down names of planets to colonize with my own sector numbers:
1,1 is the bottom left; 1,2 is on the bottom row one to right, etc.

In the end game, I do the same for enemy planets I need to invade.

Just zoom out very, very far and you will have your 'print'.

You can't zoom out far enough on a gigantic map... I see the OP's point, but I think the devs have more important things to do than printouts.

Besides, the planets in range for colonization are going to be visible when zoomed all the way out, and the ones that need invading have colours around them on the mini map.

Well, the mini-map can zoom in and out but as far as I know, you can't make the whole map bigger though you can make it disappear. If I am wrong on this, let me know.

The mini-map may show planets but it doesn't show how good the planet is. Say a 6 vs. a 26.

I guess I will keep taking notes.
