Bug in Beta 4B

Blind Exploration and distance between capital planets

I wanted to play my first game with the Beta 4B and I didn´t check the blind exploration option.
But when the game started, I couldn´t see the influence circles of the other empires.
Sry if this has been posted bevore.
I played on a huge galaxy, everything abundant with 5 AIs. But after a bit of exploration it turned out
the capital planets of at least one AI was only one sector away. I repeated this 4 times with the same results.
So my suggestion maybe for 1.2 would be to give the player the option to choose the minimum distance of
capital planets so that each empire can expand for a while before meeting another one.

I didn't have the problem with blind exploration :
every time I start a game without it I see influence circles of other empires ...

did you check if you really did activate influence circles on the minimap ?

Were you zoomed in on the Mini-Map?

Everytime I zoom in, influence goes bye bye, at 200+ zoom. Annoys the crap outta me

Yeah, same thing here.

also, at some other zoom levels (iirc), near the edge of the map, the influence of the sector on the edge of the map isn'e displayed.

in any case, zooming out once and then back in again not only takes care of some of the influence display problems, but also recenters the minimap...

it's a little irksome that the minimap doesn't recenter when the main map does.
