However, at US$44.95 it will be the most expensive of all the latest games currently in retail in Singapore. Not to mention that I need to download it myself even after paying so much.

On a related note, I have seen the original Galactic Civilizations on sale in Singapore. How did they manage the distribution then if it was so costly to do so?

After 1 year, how about releasing the gold edition in Asia?
With so many good reviews and sales, you can't say Stardock is struggling with money (hard to find cheap publisher and all that, and there is no need for language localisation in Singapore/Malaysia as we do speak English). Time to spread some goodwill to the rest of the world.
