You shouldn't be able to see where enemy ships are going

Rather silly that I can click enemy ships and find out where they are headed. This information should be hidden to me.

Isn't that an effect you have to keep spending money for espionage?

Yes it is

If you have espionage, you know from their ship computers where they're going. Logic defeats all.

I cant even tell where MY ships are going most of the time. Is this a beta feature?

Yes. In the beta, when you have one of your ships selected, or a ship of another race that you have enough espionage against, you get a faint line drawn to where that ship is going. So you can tell if that constructor is grabbing the open resource, or is just going to reinforce another starbase in the area, for example.

In the version 1.1 betas, you can click on enemy ships (if you have low espionage level) and you will see a dotted line to where they are going. You can always click your own ships to see a line to where they are going.

Here's a tip:
What's even more fun is using CTRL+drag to highlight multiple ships, and see where they are all going at once.

It would be brilliant if:

a) espionage only shows the *first* waypoint path portion of the journey, and
b) computer can set waypoints to counter espionage

ie: player only sees AI's ship going to Planet A (not a threat), but upon arrival actually proceeds to nearby Planet B (which is a threat). This is what humans do--something nasty...
