Planetary improvements on conqured planets

I would love to see a fix for the automatic upgrade "bug". When you conquer a planet, all the buildings are put into the automatic upgrade cycle, and you cannot demolish or change them till they have finished upgrading. This can be a major pain in the behind, especially when you conquer a planet with only one factory, and all the other improvemant slots occupied by embasies or farms and it takes 150 - 200 turns to get the building done so you can start turning it into a colony that works with your strategy.Im playing 1.0x so if this has been changed in the beta, sorry Iwasted your time.

I have found the opposite sometimes, that after conquering a planet no 'auto-updating' occurs even though my Tech Advances should allow them.

However when I have conquered and 'auto-updating' has gone into action, if I want to replace an improvement (when there are too many of a specific type), I have found the matter resolved by clicking on the unwanted improvement, then going to its highlighted entry in the build-queue and then clicking on the "x" (cross) at the top of the build-queue. This last action deletes the upgrade from the build-queue so enabling you to click on the offending Tile and destroy/remove the improvement and then selecting the improvement you wish to build there (which will take a longer time to build the latest version your Tech Advances allow, unless you rush-buy).

And , oh yes, I am using V1.0 where the above definitely works, as many times as you want or need it to. I would reccomend first deleting all improvements not wanted to be up-dated in the Build-Queue, then going to the planet Tiles and deleting unwanted improvements next, so that you can then choose which Tiles should have which improvements as you wish.

Hi!

I don't recommend that. When upgrading, some resources (used to build an existing building) will be transfered to the new building, so it will be finished faster.

I just wish they would make things like removing items from the build queue work with KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS. Geez things only working by mouse click suck after a while. Something like the build queue could be a lot faster and easier to use by using the arrow buttons and delete key. In addition there have been some times when an UNDO function on things like this would help a lot.
