tile pictures

not that the current pictures for things like research labs, and farms aren't good they are its just that i think they should be drawn instead of using a 3D render (i'm guessing from 3D studio max) get one of your artist the draw the building tiles i mean they don't have to move and i've seen some very impressive game art before, having something like that would improve them greatly

P.S.
the colony tile is always the same no matter how large the planets population is, the tile picture should start of being a colony ship (the one from the first colony video) partialy dissasembled with a few buildings around it, then move on better citys with colonys with large populations the city should be grand

Asthetics are always a great way to make a game better. While yes making tiles 'flow' together to make the planets surface reflect the state it is in would be a nice touch, I personaly would rather them fix current issues and add more content to improve the fundemental game mechanics to make it more interesting. Once they have reached a balanced level of content that makes the game great but not Moo3 complex then start tweaking the minor things. Although I am a firm beliver that a game is never finished, there is always more to add.

Talking asthetics was very dissappointed in the dreadlords campaign, that when i had Earth as one of my planets, it did not look like earth! It was a random, undeveloped land mass! Especially when on the tips when loading a save game it shows a proper Earth. Correct map and everything. Scenario 9 (2nd to last) is when u get control of Earth by the way.

That's probably a bug then since Terrans always start with the real Earth in sandbox mode.
