The races are unbalanced

The races are unbalanced

Some races start out with a lot more bonuses/techs

Some races start out with a lot more bonuses and more techs as well than others. Here is an example of a weak and an overpowered race:

Human (weak):

Abilities: Logistics +6%
Techs: Hyperdrive, xeno communications, xeno engineering

Drath (overpowered):

Abilities: Defense +50%, military production +25%, diplomacy +25%, espionage +50%, logistics +6%
Techs: Hyperdrive, ion drive, galactic warfare, xeno industrial theory, xeno engineering, stellar cartography

It is fine that we get to customize the races, but could they at least be balanced to begin with?

Developers: Why are the races so different in terms of starting abilities? Do 'weak' races like humans get some kind of advantage we can't see? Are there any plans to rebalance the races?

Weren't you the guy bitching about the races not being different enough? Now you wonder why they are so different? WTF??

I don't understand why you have such an obsession with balance. You cannot judge such things just by looking at a list of stats. By that measure the Drath Legion and the Yor are the two strongest civs, yet most people who have actually played the game a lot will tell you that it is the Torians and Arceans who are more likely to dominate when played by the AI. And if they are played by the human player, who cares if they are balanced since you can change their ablilities to anything you want.
