NEED help to play game

i can only see half of the visual screen that you're supposed to be able to see. u can click buttons at where they should be but u can't see the buttons. i'll give you any information that u need. just tell me how to get to it. I have a windows xp with a geforce 4000 mx. there is a debug.err file but i don't know how to open it or send it to someone to see it.

That's probably your problem, especially the video driver, if you update those, it will probably run fine, especially as what you're getting right now sounds very similar to what I had before I updated my video driver.
Edit: It also looks like you're running GalCiv II version 1.0, so downloading 1.0X is probably a good idea, though it's still likely the old drivers are the root of the problem.

I have the same driver installeed BUT the date is 25/3/2006!!

I suspect that you've not removed the driver (folllow the instructions on the ATI site). Then reinstall Catalyst version 6.3-xp-2k_dd_cc_wdm_enu_30895.

This will give you the latest driver set 6.14.10.5696.

But he is using an NVidia GForce board, not an ATI graphics card. However, he should goto the NVidia site, download the latest drivers and follow the directions for installing.

i have went to the nvidia website but i don't know what i'm doing. is there any chance someone may know exactly where to go in the website and what to do. i just don't understand driver numbers and i don't want to mess up my computer.

i have went to nvidia website. i went to download drivers. i clicked on Graphics Driver-Geforce and TNT2-Windows XP/2000. After it downloaded, i tried to play the game and now everything comes up in checkered colors. i don't know how to undo the driver. please help.
