Upgrading ships in a fleet

Is it possible?

Pretty much what is says there. I know I can upgrade single ships, or the whole lot of 'em, but what about if I only want to upgrade a single fleet? I like to leave older fleets as backup while I'll upgrade a fleet here or there....but right now I'm doing the upgrading by breaking the whole fleet down, separating them, upgrading, and remaking the fleet. There's got to be a better way, especially with the new fleet manager. 1.1b4, btw.

Oh, and props to the guys at Stardock. Excellent game.....now how about applying some of that genius to these...err....forums?

Quick bump. Am I blind, or is there no search button?

Edit: Now I see it. I'll be getting my eyes checked.....and while I'm at it I think I'll double check for an upgrade ships button in game....

It doesn't exist.
You can only upgrade when a single ship is alone on a tile and you hit the button.

One change I would like to see is fleet upgrades or group upgrades.
It is just hard to issolate ships onto seperate spaces just to upgrade them and it wastes moves.
The feature needs a hotkey as well.

I think 1.0x still has the ability to upgrade the fleet selected. But apparently, If I remember correctly, there was an exploit associated with it. So now it's a pain in the ass At least you can still do Upgrade All ship types though. Which does save some time.

There's no way to upgrade fleets right now, but I'm almost certain that they are working on it.
