Unable to Stop Ship Production

The problem is my shipyard won't let me stop production of ships!
I cannot stop production by the two methods I know of:
Placing the Military Allocation Slider at 0%
Selecting Nothing from the build menu
Neither stops the shipyard from producing, which is annoying when I wan't to stop building them...

Happens in the regular game, too. It has put a stop to my ability to play until this one is fixed, as it seems to be affecting every game I start now, with any setup.

I posted this with my latest B4 bug report. I found I could get the starports to stop building ships by VIEWING the planet, then selecting the BUILD SHIP button on the planet screen. When the list of ships came up I would select NONE and get back to the strategic map normally. That is the only way it worked. Selecting none from the quick build screen would look like it worked, but the ship would still be in the build queue.

Interesting note: The bug disappeared after I sucessfully invaded a planet. By then I had aquired a couple planets via cultural conquest, but it wasn't until after the military invasion that the problem simply disappeared. All I have to say is good luck to Stardock in finding an intermittant problem.

I've got this bug too. I've conquered about 50 planets by influence but I've only ever actively invaded one (and invading that one ended the game since it eliminated the only race with whom I was not allied).

Another way is the Governers screen. There, you can select all of a certain type of ship being built on the left side, select NONE on the right side, and click the update button. It will set them all at once to stop building ships.

I have the same problem as you, and this method has never failed me yet.

Just updated to B4, and I've got the bug too. Odd thing was it didn't pop up until after I had colonized 3-4 planets. Thanks to Moosetek for the governers trick, lots easier than doing it planet by planet
