With Update Espionage Not working!

I can't get any free techs?

Hey Guys,
Before I downloaded the patch, and spent "trillions" on espionage I would usually get a few techs out of it, now nada.

Whats up?

It is possible that something is broken but to be honest with you I rarely get any techs for free from espionage unless I'm behind the AI in techs. It has been like that for me since day one.

Well, it's kind of hard to steal a tech if they haven't got anything you don't.

i spent about 1600 BC a turn on espionage to get the 4 techs the Thalan had that I didn't (Phasor I,II,III,IV) and I only got 2 of them after about 20 turns some odd turns. I think that there definately is less a chance of getting techs when you are way ahead of them.

You guys do know that putting any money into espionage once you reach advanced is useless right? Loading lots of money into espionage won't increase your chances of stealing a tech.... it will only lvl up your espionage rating with them and that is what determines your chance of stealing.
