Production after loading a saved game

On my computer, after I load a saved game, nothing is being produced anywhere in the galaxy in the first turn after loading a game. The production graf shows it, every time each race's production drops to 0. Not even the date changes, but the turn is there, the ships can move in it. Did anyone else experience this?

Yes, and it really sucks, because if all you do is shut down the game to go to work/school/whatever it still happens.

It's deliberate, to stop you saving the game just before a battle, then loading and loading till you win. You could still do this, but you'd lose a turn's production, which is meant to put you off.

Ahh - I had that happen to me once, but I didn't make the connection that it happened after I had exited the game and gone back in.

If that's the case, that is certainly something that I would like to see changed... wink wink, nudge nudge...

If this is true, then its a horrible way to deal with this situation. The cost is reletively low, its just highly annoying.

I wouldn't doubt that its some glitch with the game though. Even in GC1 they had various issues with saving and reloading. I think it had to do with influence being reset to zero or something, but it was also very annoying.
