The music

Is it just my imagination or does the music in the game change depending on whats going on in the game. For example, in the beggining, before you meet any other races the music is more empty. Once you meet someone the musical theme becomes more complex. In a war the music is much more tense, if your losing it becomes ominous, if you're winning it changes to a tone more suited to smashing your enemies.

Is this just my imagination, or has anyone else noticed this?

Crap! Sorry I did it again, will someone please move this to Game talk, or is it there, I'm getting confused. Will someone tell me how to post in Game Talk if you reply to my post. It does say that I'm posting to game talk, or at least I thought it did.

Thanks,
Ernst

Edit: Nevermind I think I figured it out.

It does change.... I think.

I guess that must mean the music is good (I enjoy it at least), if you or I can't tell if it changes it must be doing what it is intended to do, put us in the right mood for taking over the galaxy. haha

The music also changes with your Ethical alignment!

I usually go for evil ( heavy weapons, no starbase upgrade cost, the artificial slave center and the 'no mercy invasion center') and the music becomes more sinister.... Like the theme you here when trading/negotiating with the Drengin.

I've noticed that as a player of good alignment that there's often very dramatic changes when I switch from war to peace or vice versa.
