Max sensor radius?

I build a cargo ship with as much sensor 5 as possible and got a ship with 25 sensor radius. As i upgraded my old sensor ship i got the new one but it just has a sensor radius of 15. Is 15 the max sensor radius or is it a bug?

Yes, sensors are capped at 15 parsecs (1 sector).

I think its more to prevent the player from making a massive sensor ship that can sit at your capital and see the whole map
