One starport, or more ?

I'm quite new at this game, my first game was at the easy mode and it was an easy win Now i'm playing normal and it's really tough ! Everybody seems to hate me...And to help me, my closest neighbor is the Drengin .

I was wondering if building two or more starport on a planet help for the speed of the ship building ? Whats the best thing ? A lot of manufacturing plant ? boosting the military sliders ? I need ship...fast !

You can't build more than one starport on a planet.

More manufacturing centers= more production. Also crank up the military slider in your domestic policy scereen (F4 key)

just in case you misspelled it, starBASES benifits will stack. starPORTS(the ones built on planets) do not stack on one planet.

A Starport enables you to build ships on that planet, There can only be one on a planet at any given time.

Factory's are the things that give you points towards building a ship, If you want a planet to be a ship-hose then just carpet it in factory's.

Beware though that they may get unhappy, So throwing in an entertainment center is not a bad option.

I think there's a new bug in the new beta. I've seen the AI (lots of times) have multiple starports on a planet.
It's definately funky, because you can't always even tear em down.

I second that beta bug. I've currently conqured about 6 Torian planets and have found 2 starports of 3 of them

Third the bug. You can't tear them down, but you can upgrade them with another building.
