TotalGaming.net action

Lots of games!

http://www.totalgaming.net

There's a lot of exciting things going on with TotalGaming.net.  TotalGaming.net is Stardock's electronic distribution network for PC games. Galactic Civilizations II is one of the games on TotalGaming.net.  If you purchased GalCiv II directly, you used TotalGaming.net (just re-branded on this site to Galciv2.com).

Like GalCiv II, the games on TotalGaming.net do not use DRM. They're designed to be convenient and use SSD (Secure Software Delivery) which decreases piracy without inconveniencing users like many DRM systems do.

Here are some of the games that have recently come out:

Atlantis Quest

Set out on a quest for Atlantis in this dazzling new take on the classic style matching game!

You can purchase the games individually like you would any other on-line purchase. Or you can become a member of TotalGaming.net for $69.95 where you get tokens to use on the individual games which net typically a 30% discount off the price.

It's a great way to get ahold of indie titles as well as classic PC retail titles and the occasional new title. Check it out for yourself.

I played Earth 2150 a bit - was too unbalanced though since the LC got their 'doomsday' weapon real quick. Haven't tried the expansions though - are they any better?

I tried buying the Earth 2150 trilogy, but it says my username/password combination is wrong when I try to log in. I checked my e-mail that I got from Stardock re: my username/password, and I'm definitely typing it in correctly. When I request having my password sent to me, it says an e-mail was sent but none ever shows up.

I'm definitely entering in the right e-mail address and password. Can't emphasize that one enough. What's going on?

Indeed...
Sucks to have hundreds on a bank account, but unable to spend it in things I like cause they all require credit cards ... while we don't even need to buy on credit per se.

The Moon Project is okay, adds some new stuff to play with. Don't need Earth 2150 to play, pretty much a Stand Alone. I do not know about Lost Souls. Or Earth 2150 to begin with LOL. I never got those, just picked up Moon Project one day, rescued it from the local 10$ bin in a Game Store.
Overall, the games are pretty great, unbalanced or not. Non of the Races are supreme though with good tactics... the ED are pretty nasty, never liked playing as LC too much. Granted I could turtle better than any of the other races, I never could field a army well enough to take down the other. (Unless the AI was on easy... other ways on Medium, or higher, became more of a job than fun)

Heh... sucks to have a bunch of cash on hand and not in a bank account or having a credit card

Daemonica sounds interesting, but I'd want a demo first.
