I paid the Iconians 2,500 bc for the Gravity Accelerator trade good and the speed of my warships has NOT gone up. Not my new ones, not my old ones. My freighters are faster, but who friggin cares? What is that about? I thought that increased the base speed of ALL ships by +1.

Well darn it. After quitting and restarting, suddenly they ARE faster. I guess this should be filed as a bug, since I can't imagine you're *supposed* to have to restart before it takes effect. I'm running the beta 2 that just came out.

I've noticed that it takes a turn for speed changes to kick in. Maybe that's what happened with you.
