questions from newcomer

well here is my question... I downloaded the demo first and was playing through and some time I researched the planetary invasion and then the marines but wasnt able to built any marines (or maybe I duno where to buit them) then I made some troop transporter and send the transporter to an enemyplanet but nothing happen.wasnt able to drop any single guy or anything like that.I built the troop transporter on a the module with the 55 slotpoints (dont remember the name now) so what did I do wrong?

Make sure that, before you try to invade the planet, all enemy ships in orbit have been destroyed.  If there are ships in orbit, you will see a little shield icon below the planet on the main map.

Also, researching marines will simply give you a bonus to your soldiering ability, which will make invasions easier.

no there was no ships at the orbit I cleansed the area fully. I only wated to see how it looks like when I Try to send some marine but nothing happend.I wasnt able to drop on a planet which has no protect

So when your transport moved onto the planet tile what happened then?

You should get a pop up window asking what type of invasion you want to do, then you click invade, and get the battle animation.

Just to be sure - please confirm that the planet you tried to invade did not have a shield icon on it at the time.

If you sent a troop transport to an undefended planet and it refused to invade, I can only think of two potential reasons:

1) There were enemy ships in orbit around the planet (indicated by a shield icon on the planet), or
2) There were no troops on the troop transport (I'm not sure if you can even launch a troop transport without any troops on board, but this is the only other thing I can think of)
