Well, if you have a broadband internet connexion on your gaming computer, you could do the following:
- install Stardock Central
- register GC2 with SDC if it isn't register yet
- uninstall GC2 from SDC
- download the whole game from SDC

In short, if you serial ID is registred on the Stardock servers, you can download the whole game in english

It this is not possible you might have to change your location under regional and language options in control panel
to be able to download the UK version.

If you already have the german version there is no need to download the whole game again.
Open regedit and browse to key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\STARDOCK\DRENGIN.NET\GALCIV2

There you will find a REG_SZ Value called "Language" ... just set it to "English" and there you go.
No need to copy around files when applying any patch.
