Did either of the Beta's fix...

the problem of selecting a fleet/ship to move to a new destination, which occasionally results in other fleets/ships that weren't selected going to that destination as well?

I checked the change logs and couldn't find anything on it...it's driving me batty

I've had this problem in 1.0X. You have a group that you move then select a different ship or group. Somehow the old ships stay sleected and go to the new destination with the new ones. You jst have to carfully make sure your old ships get unseleced after moving, it frusterates me too.

Ya I thought I had it all figured out. Select fleet A to move. After click once or twice on open space then select fleet B to move... Yet for some reason it's no longer working effectively on the gigantic map I'm playing.

I experience this problem ALL the time. What you have to do is, if you selected fleet A by mistake, it's easier to select an immovable item.. say a planet.. then select the fleet/ship u really wanna move. that should solve the problem.

still it would be better for stardock to make it easier to de-select ships. or just implement shift selection, i think.

this was REALLY annoying
My fix = click on the nearest planet, then click on the fleet(s) you want to move.

i don't believe a bug, just an annoying default: since the game lets you select multiple ships/fleets to move at once, if one group is highlighted, and you click on a second group, the first group is still selected by default

it would be helpful if the default was to only select multiple groups by holding a shift key or something.

That's the way I think it should be. Kind of annoying to have to click on a planet in between moving ships all the time.
