Im gunna enjoy this game

Hi everyone ive just created a new acount the game is in the post hopfully! £17 from Amazon what a bargin, ive been watching the website for a while now and am wondering when my game comes should I download 1.1 Beta 2 or wait till an official (de-bug) version comes out as i have seen allot of angry people posting stuff on the site, cant wait to get the game

Well, I just finished my first game with 1.1 beta 2, and it seemed very stable in comparison to the previous one.

If you are unsure at all about running the beta, then I would recommend you just download the latest 1.0x patch (don't try to just run the out-of-the-box version). The angry people you have seen just don't understand what a "beta" version is, so unless you are willing to accept some annoying crashes, and are prepared to send off debug files to Stardock to help them find the cause when it does happen, then stick with 1.0x.

Also, do make sure your drivers are up to date before installing it - it really does matter!

£17 is a bargain - enjoy!

yes when i installed it i found owt that my drivers where 2 years owt of date.oopps.I have never understood how people get a beta and dont have a clue that its probably bugged

Thanks chaps I really appreciate the help in making the decision I think ill just use the 1.0X when the game arrives (which I hope for the love of god is soon and then after a while decide wether to use the Beta

P.S. On the issue of drivers I have a 10 month old dell im guessing thst it will be sufficient, I really dont know anything about computers so any help will be greatly recieved

Maybe not. The debug.err file is really helpful to spot outdated drivers.

Cheers, Where do I find the file, plus if it is outdated will I have to send my PC to a shop or something and get it updated, if so how much will this cost (i really do not know bugger all about PC's)

No. You just need to search on the manufacturer site new drivers.

Hi again just visited Dell .co.uk and found a driver to download (Video: nVidia 256MB PCI Express x16 GeForce 6800, Driver, Windows XP, Multi Language, Multi System, v.77.74, A03) this is just jargen to me but will this be OK, if anyone knows can you help me out
