Look in “C:\Documents and Settings\yournamehere\My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2\ships”. You’ll want the “.xml” and “.shipcfg” files...

What ep was the Olympus from? I don’t recall that one at all...

Warlock is up, so are new versions of the Hyperion and Aurora.

Olympus is still pending approval tho. lol

im not really very technical with all this stuff, but i tryd to copy and paste but for reason i cant paste into the
GC2Types.xml, im might have misunderstood but would be greatful for some help cheers

actually scrap that just figured it out it wasnt hard at all boy do i fell thick!!
warlock works like a charm, nice size ,nice colour/ detail. top dog

Sweet! Nice work. The warlock has replaced the Excalibur as my EA huge ship. And nice job with new Aurora and Hyperion; the lighting and including thumbnails. Pretty much all the issues people had with them seem to have been fixed.

Oh, and as an FYI for the XML modders out there: I group all my B5 ships together and include this line in my XML file. That way, when I need to make changes to the XML, I can do a ctrl F and find these ships extremely easily...

@Coplann:

The newest update on the Warlock is not downloading. You might check with Stardock on the file. It goes straight to "error" on a blank screen. They've apparently have had recent trouble with a few files.

This is probably a little late, Coplann, but I just wanted to say thank you for the ship models, and especially taking the time to update older ones that you have already done. I really like the additions of thumbnails and XML examples so I don't have to replace any existing ship models in the game. So, enough brown-nosing, just wanted to let you know that your work is appreciated

give access to Shadow or Vorlon ships through ethical alignment

That is a *really* good idea Coplann. The ethical alignments are a bit of a weak spot in default gc2 and that would make them awesome (imho - no offense SD, you guys rock!). To balance the alignment hulls and ensure the others are used throughout the game I will look at giving them more default speed / sensors at a cost to money / space or something along those lines.

Been slack in the forums this week so I hope I haven't missed any other good ideas that I can steal and put in the mod! I'm a lurker by inclination so it's a bit weird playing a more active role.
