after destroying starbases resources are not shown

i'm playing with 1.1 beta 2 and i noticed that after i destroy enemy starbases resources are not shown.I think that there is a bug showing resources on my computer because often i don't see any resource and after i see enemy starbases where before there was an empty tile. I have the debug.err but i can't open it because i don't know what program to use.
Considering that i have continued my game for a lot of turns after i noticed this bug; the debug.err contains only informations about last turns are informations about all the game?any help is appreciated

This sounds like an old bug. Are you sure you're playing with the 1.1 Beta?
As a work-around, the resources should be back when reloading.

Debug.err can be opened with NOTEPAD (Start, Programs, Accessories) but that probably wouldn;t tell you much anyway
