installed BETA 2A yor portrait flashing and stuttering audio

i have installed beta 2a and noticed that audio is often stuttering and yor portrait in diplomacy is often flashing a white light.
About the problem of yor portrait i have noticed it also in the previous beta version while it didn't happen before.
My specs:
AMD 3500+
X800XT ATI RADEON
1024 MB RAM
SOUNDBLASTER AUDIGY LS
ASUS A8VDELUXE MOTHERBOARD

Been since the original build, depends upon background programs I think. If I have large background programs running (like messenger), it'll flash and stutter. If I don't, it's smooth. Ditto to audio.

It seems to me that the flash is one animation frame that is white in the loop.

I've always seen this as something that the Yor themselves are doing. I think they are trying to brainwash me into doing what they want. Hey... it was late... I was playing the game... maybe the Yor force me to keep playing.

I think that the Yor picture is done on purpose. It is kind of a cool effect. As for the sound, I don't know... I never play with sound cause I might wake the kids.
