1.1 Beta - Turn Button Bug

The Turn Button will not appear often, making me save and exit the game, and re-enter the game to get the Turn button to appear.

Sometimes I can avoid having to exit the game by moving ships around, or more infrequently by purchasing structures in progress of being built, but that usually does not work.

This Turn Button bug occurs fairly often, sometimes 80% of the time.

If there's a Beta sticky, as I saw someone mention in another thread, I couldn't find it, and I'm fairly new to these parts. It also appears as if Sticky's aren't sticky at all, as they're found on many pages of the forums scattered around. Trying to find my way around.

I've seen this one too, but I don't think it's the bug you are thinking of. There is a ship that hasn't yet been given an order. Unfortunately, it doesn't highlight the ship (that's the real bug) so you have no idea that's what it wants you to do. You need to click the Find button to find the ship (or ships) that needs orders.

Yeah, it occurs when any ship has remaining moves (ie reached its autpilot destination but still has moves left) and no order. Sometimes just hitting spacebar will take you to the ship, sometimes it won't. A couple of turns I've really had to search for the idle ship....not particularly fun.

Clicking find or pressing tab will instantly take you to the ship. Whats annoying at times is that it occurs during the post turn phase and sometimes it's tough to know if the game is *thinking* or if it is waiting for you to give a ship orders. We really need a *Wait* cursor . Also if you turn off the option to keep the remaining move points of a ship with an autopilot destination this goes away.

The problem I've discovered sometimes, related to this ofcourse, appears when using obsolete ship designs. If you don't scrap or upgrade the ships of a certain design when you upgrade the design then the ship sometimes becomes invisible on the starmap, I believe the game cannot find the appropriate model since it's obsolete. In this case hitting the "Find" button will only result in centering on an "empty" tile of the galaxy-map. This has occured several times in my games and is most often corrected with a save and reload.

Hopefully this helps clarify the problem...
