All in all, I've been very impressed with this game and the maturity of the forum posts and community. But... after reading lots of threads I've compiled my top 5 'tard' posts which gave me the most laughs and or annoyance:-

1) The moon is orbiting the wrong way on the game map ..... this is really funny. What an oversite! 'nough said.
2) Why are there other stars etc, in the background when this is a map of the galaxy...... I'm no Stephen Hawkin, but even I know there are millions of Galaxy's in the Unviverse.
3) But that's not how it's done in MOO or Empire Galaxy deluxe (or whatever).... No way, a game that's different, WOW what's next.
4) All the 'Star Bore' fans clearly wanting a Death Star tech..... Jeez maybe some sort of weapon could 'blow up' your keyboard and give us all a rest.
5) Why did the AI do this, why did it do that, why did it....... why were you born?

No offense meant here, just had to share these.

My favorite is the one with the guy who's mad because too many people are customizing their ships to resemble Star Wars and Star Trek ships. He wrote a long rant about it, how everyone should be more original and all that. What a pointless post....why would anyone care about how someone else is playing the game?

I say make whatever kind of ships you want, make them look the way you want......if you want a ship that looks like the Enterprise make it......if you want one that looks like a flying brick....go nuts.

Your number 4 makes no sense. In GalCiv I, there was a Terror Star that could destroy a star system. So it is hardly crazy to think in the same universe there would be similar technology. I don't personally miss it all that much, but it would be nice.

Heh if I were a ship designer I'd make them all look like globes and make them modular. A single fighter might be a single 'battle' globe. A destroyer might be a network of two or three 'battle' globes and an engine globe. And a battleship might be a network of two-three destroyer networks.

Then you could have battleships that look like huge atoms or buddhist sutras.

I stated what I want.. but what I hate is people complaining about a beta build... "it's broken and buggy", really??? it's not like it is a beta.. it's not like the programmers told YOU to stay away and wait for the nirmal release...

My annoyance posts are the people who always seem to claim the AI is cheating. I am not sure what else the developers can do to prove it isn't, besides posting the entire code, lol. Which probably won't help since 90% wouldn't know how to read it anyway.

Hey, thanks for starting this thread, Darkmatter. In a community where most of the people have been very supportive of each other, it's very hard for most of us to ascertain whether or not a post is, as you say, full of "tard'. Thank you so very much for spoon-feeding us this magical "tardness". I don't know what we would do without people like you; keep on preaching the negativity, bro. Because the world clearly doesn't have enough of it.
