Help getting patch

When ever I try to Download the 1.0x patch I just get the Collectors edition download stuff, How do I get the patch. Iv had no luck with the stardock program. I just want to download a patch to install.

1. Open Stardock Central.

2. Click "Games".

3. At the top left of the screen, click "Tools", then ""Check for application updates".

4. If your game needs patching, it'll show up beside the game title.

5. Choose "Install".

and when I try that it says I need to buy a registration.

I all ready payed for the game once and I have registered.

On this website, click the downloads section, then look for the tiny 'bought your game in europe, click here' link; this lets you get a propper registration key (paradox managed to mess up massivly, and only put the collectors edition keys on the european products.)

I'm having this trouble too. In my Stardock Central it says Galactic Civilizations II - 1.0X10 - updated March 22, 2006. (I bought the game online in the first week of March)

My serial numbers work and everything. I have beta/release enabled.

Just nothing coming up when I right-click "Check for Application Updates"!

Is there something I'm missing here?

The beta is not on Stardock yet. It is only a direct download, found in the post about it on the front page of the GalCiv2 website.

hehe. I found my answer from the galciv team, on irc. There are two numbers that came with my version, I didnt notice the secound one, so I was useing the wrong one, duh, lol.
