Bug in 1.1 Opponent mining nothing

An opposing AI started a mining starbase over what apperars to be nothing in the galactic map. Either there is a resource there, and the game is not displaying it properly, or this is a glitch that occured as a result of me taking a nearby resource first. Either way it seems like a bug, I am running version 1.1 beta.

Can you zoom out and see if the Overlay symbol for a resource appears on the map? Thanks!

Are you sure it's mining anything? They could have just built the starbase there without an underlying resource.

BoogieBac, I've seen the same behaviour and there is no resource symbol when zoomed out - or apparent resource when zoomed in. In my game the Thalans had 3 of these mining starbases that were not mining anything in one sector - I confirmed that there is no resource there by buying one of the starbases off them and comparing my race stats on the 5 resource types before and after the trade. Definitely looks like a bug, albeit very minor, and not one I've seen prior to v1.1.

Saw this same thing in a game I submitted to the MV over the weekend(which was flagged as "cheat codes detected?). I think it was the Torians, they built a mining base near my homeworld, or I may not have noticed it.

Suffice to say, there was definitely no resource visible there.
