Starbases

How do you move a starbase? I researched starbase movement, but they still can't be moved. My neighbors keep complaining about the military bases, so I want to move them.

At present there is no way to move a starbase. There may be in the future but not for a while.

Starbase Mobilisation tech.

Mobilise doesn't mean to move - Dictionary definition

to prepare to fight, especially in a war:
The government has mobilized several of the army's top combat units.
Troops have been mobilising for the past three weeks.
ObjectDock - Access shortcuts and frequently used applications from an animated dock.

Really? I could have sworn that one the other races was moving a base around. I just assumed I didn't have the right tech.

make them happy with you. Give/ trade tech, trade with them, give them things, etc.

You need to be rated as "Close" with the other race... then as long as you've both researched alliances on the tech tree, you can go to the screen where you can trade with other races and it'll be one of the options. Although it may cost you something (just like any trade) to get them to ally with you...

My beef is that I was in a game being double teamed by the Yor (they're evil, so I suppose it's only natural to attack in the first place) and the Altarians (I don't know why these guys don't like me, but they hate me consistently in every game). I allied with the Drath, who then promptly ignored my "threats" that they should help me to stop the Altarians. 3 turns later, the Altarians and the Drath allied, but the Altarians were still knocking me around while the Drath looked the other way!

I also hate it when a race says "That race is getting too powerful, we must stop them before it's too late". I figure, ok cool, you have a point. So I then suggest "Hey, why don't we attack that guy together?" I then get the snippy response of "Why would we do that?" (or something similar).

I think this needs to be addressed in a future patch, since the AI just acts like a bunch of d**ks sometimes. In good ol' Moo 2, when the Bulrathi started agressing me, my allies the Trilarians were always the first ones to pipe up and say "Yo brotha, let's kill those fools". They were my own little "Mr. T" ally.

LOL. How did I miss that! I feel dumb now.

So then, when they complain about your base, what do you do? Give them the base? Give them 100 credits to shut up? What's a good peaceful solution?
