Cannot update with Collectors Edition Tin Box (UK Version)

Hello,

I legally bought the collectors Tin Box edition UK Version via Play.com.

However I am unabale either to update the game or to dl the collectors edition additional content cause i always get the folowing message:

"The serial number you have entered does not match any data that is in our system. Please verify that you typed it in correctly"

This happens when visiting the normal page or the special collectors edition paradox page.

So anyone can fgive me any hints ??

Thanks in advance,
L.

It seems to be a known problem and you can swap your serial for a working one. Have a look at this page: https://www.galciv2.com/paradox/

Hope this helps.

I get the error "* The serial number you have entered does not match any data that is in our system. Please verify that you typed it in correctly."
when I enter the serial so it will send me the new serial, so it's catch 22 for me it seems, I need the new code to register for the download, but to get the new code I need a code it recognizes...

Oh and yes I have verified that I type it as written

I had the exact same problem on arrival of the game from play.com.
But, it was a typo, on retrieving the new serial.
So after close, close inspection of the serial on the box, I succeded.

I had the same problem, coincidentally enough also buying the collectors edition from Play.com. Using the link above worked for me though.

In this case, all I can think of is triple check you're typing in the right code (even if you have already, can't hurt to try again), not using 0 instead of O or Q or I instead of L and so on. Or hope staff see this and can help.

Had the same problem, instead of using CAPS LOCK to type in code, were I got the error/does not match message, I used SHIFT KEY instead to type in Code and all worked. Why using SHIFT KEY instead of CAPS LOCKS makes any difference who knows but it did.

Thanks Trebuchet, seems to have done the trick....I don't get why this would work
Meh, perhaps I missed some 0 instead if O or vice versa and doing the shift thingy made me type correctly /shrug
