how do you repair your ships in a fleet and by themselves?

They repair themselves. There is also a starbase module that increases repair speed for ships near it.

They repair by themselves. Your repair score reflects how fast they repair - building the Micro Repair Bot wonder improves this score. Putting them into orbit speeds it up too. Basically, just leave them and they're done

You used to be able to cheat but it was expensive (not sure if you can still do it). Take an individual ship and upgrade it to the same type of ship. It takes a turn, costs a couple of hundred and repairs to full.

i dont think bladevenom was right.i dont think the starbase module module is in galciv 2 it was in galciv 1 but i havent seen it yet, unless ive just ignored it haha.

There is a planet thing you can build which increases repair rate for ships in orbit. Maybe that is what he meant... There may be a starbase module to for all I know

There was a repair module in the beta (not the current one for 1.1) but I don't think I saw it in the release build.

The module is mentioned in the manual. Not that this proves anything, 4X manuals universally suck.
