Wide screen and Windowed mode

I have a laptop running 1920x1440 attached to a second large monitor also running at 1920x1440. I can tell the game to run at 1920x1440, but when I do the mouse clicks are offset vertically (and the offset gets worse the farther down the screen you get).

I would also like to be able to force the game to run on the second display since it's larger, but window mode does not give me a border to reposition it. Is there some way to move the game to the second display?

Thanks,

You can set your primary monitor to be the other monitor in the desktop setting where you setup the monitors. When you do that, windows should (i think) default to the other.

Failing that, you can press alt-space which will bring up the menu you usually get when you right click the menu bar. From there there is a "move" option that you click and you can move the screen with the arrow keys

Don't think moving the window will do it - I've tried that, GalCiv2 starts taking up 99% of the CPU to where even mouse movements take forever. Suspect you'll have to change the primary monitor (something of a PITA, but I've found very few games that handle dual monitors well, especially if the primary is set to portrait mode instead of landscape).

I've had to switch the main monitor before, I was just hoping I wouldn't have to change my settings just to play the game. Oh well. Any idea if there is a fix for the 1920x1200 screen resolution problem?

Thanks,

Never mind. I'm not sure what I did (other than changing the primary monitor), but it's working fine now.
