WHY WAS THE "FEATURE" NOT FIXED????

Is it me or am I being an ass about this?

When I got the v.1.1 (not beta) the shipcreator takes off all non-jewel things such as weapons and sensors. I AM aware however that this is not a bug but a "feature" added to the game. Some people like it but people, like me, dont like and find it ANNOYING!!! Because some people like it I would like it to be a feature. (I HATE IT SO MUCH I CANT EXPLAIN IT OR PLAY IT) Here are some reasons why I dont like it: -Upgrade everything every time you get a new technology -It gets worse when you get huge capitalships and you have to remember every little INSIGNIFICANT detail -I dont like it also because you have to re-write ship description (It hasn't been fixed in the beta) Does any one else feel like I do?

It looks like they might change the ship designer. If they change it where it doesn't remove all of the weapons I'll shut up forever.


It has in 1.1 beta 2. There is an toggle box in options/interface for this now. It's also easier to remove components from ships


You can find it in the release notes for one of the 1.1 betas (not sure if it was in the first or part of the second beta). It's in the beta that is available through stardock central. It appears to be working perfectly for me.

I haven't spotted it before, but I don't understand the version you are playing since 1.1 is currently only available as a beta.

Look at the dates.
That option wasn't present in the beta back then.

The version is v1.1 beta-1 (Thats the version I saw in the corner but why does it have -1??)

It's in BETA 4, and was in BETA 3 (or 3A) Please note if you have BETA 4 it may stills ay BETA 3A when you launch the application. It;s a minor bug.
