Buy Project and Buy Ship

After buying...problems...

After I purchase one project on my planet, I can't purchase any other project on the same turn or all subsequent turns.

Also, after I buy a Colony Ship, it never appears and the BUY option also goes away.

What's going on here?

Weird. AFAIK you cannot buy more than one project on a single planet per turn. Subsequent turns should be no problem, though.

When you buy a ship it should appear the next turn. Just don't switch the shipyard production until then.

I think that is so someone who is really rich cannot make an insta-colony

Odd. I just did a few forum searches, and as far as I can see this hasn't happened before. I think someone once mentioned something about a turn button disappearing, but never buy/build. Sure you havent gone broke? If not, then try save/reload. If that fails, then try and get the file that says what line of code it's reading. If that still fails, Send a save to a dev. And sunofvitch, that's the entire point of the beggining game. 5000 bc to get infrastructure and insta-colonies, the land grab phase. This shouldn't happen.

You have to have some money allocated to military production
Enough so that the ETA on things isn't "never"
