Downloads are too big!

Why can't the downloads be broken down into smaller components? It would save on download time and the one I waited three hours to get didn't even work.

When you say teh one didn't owrk... you did get al three, right? One won't work without the otehrs. If you don't want to download them, just get the CD version.

That's why I got the CD too - I have a 56k (an unreliable one at that), so it took a good day or two to download the game files alone. I decided to wait until the CD for the music, etc. (It arrived a day or two later anyways.)
I don't know if you can get the disk after buying and downloading - I'd imagine so, though.

How's that?
If it takes 6 hours for you to download it normally and it's broken into say 6 parts....
1+1+1+1+1+1=6

What exactly are you purposing?

Simple. If the download fails it will not have to be restarted from the beginning. And it can be downloaded at your own timing. Not everyone can let his PC downloading overnight.
