Ship Design Interface Question

slider bar?

Hello. In the ship design view, when you add a component there is the remove button. To the left of the remove button there is a slider. I've moved it around but it doesn't seem to do anything. What is it? Thanks.

The area to the left of the remove button is a queue of the items that you have placed on the ship. The slider only becomes functional when you have added more item than will show in the available space.

If you want to remove something from the ship you find it in the queue select it and click remove

I think they are talking about the resizing slider (ie left of the remove button)

When you have a component selected, but have NOT yet placed it on the ship, this slider will allow you to scale that component to a suitable size before you add it.

Once added, you cannot resize it when it is attached (which I think you should be able to!!!)

I think they said that you will be able to turn and scale attached items in v1.1 so just wait
