Abundence mod

all planets now colonisable

http://www.geocities.com/ihl_lucian/abundence.zip
Ok,I edited the custom planets.xml and more importantly ,the planets configurations, both files can be found in the Data folder (and also in the Metaverse for internet ) ,in order to ensure at least class 1 for all planet types(all the upper limits remained constant)
For the standard galaxy map,Earth and Altaria are now class 26,as well as all homeworlds.
These changes are made to address the very slow research rate on first campaign scenarios.
Also, the galaxy now "feels" like a huge space populated with stars, planets and resources in the sandbox game;use abundant settings for a massive play experience.
Just find the apropriate files, back them up and overide them with those in the archive
Have fun.

Two things.....
1) the link doesnt work....
2) Not to be nit picky but it's spelled "abundance" in all forms of English. Generally I dont worry about spelling and wouldn't correct it, but when it's the name of a mod, I'm pretty sure you'd want to get it right!

Hey, woah, now. That's creative license you're talking about there. You can't control the art, man. And of course it isn't a mistake. Artists don't make mistakes- they make art.

I wouldnt advise having class 26 worlds most of the time though I find that class 25 allows more chance of the terraforming techs giving you additional tiles... I did a lot of experimentation into it.

Though, in my games, I normally set the amount of stars to rare. and just give each race 1 homeworld and 4 class 5-10 planets in there home system, so everyone's start is equal. and the initial rush is the same for everyone. it makes the rest of the galaxy more strategic as it means that the final worlds you conquer are the races homeworlds......
