Problem with planet skins

please help..my only glitch so far

Every time I save my game and reload, each uninhabitable planet on the map switches to the "venus" skin texture. When I start a new game, all the planets have their individual skins and are perfectly fine untill I save and reload them. All the planets which are not class zero keep their textures/skins. Also, the stars/rings/moons are fine, only planets affected.

Someone please help, this glitch really hurts the scenery

I have this exact same problem, and yes it's very annoying.

Thank god I'm not alone..I though I was going crazy seeing the exact same planet everywhere. Do you have any idea how to fix this bug?

I really have no clue.

I've tried multiple re-installs with patch or no patch and it happens every time. I'm using the downloadable version; what about you?

I too have come across this. Loaded up a save game and all my 0 planets were the same skin. (I think all my inhabitable planets all had the same earthlike skin too) I was messing around with XML files and thought I may have accidently screwed something up. Neither of you have done any modding have you? If you have not then it is a bug and I can confirm it has happened to me. It does not happen all the time though becuase I have started new games and loaded them from saves without it happening.

Anybody have any luck with this? I am having the same problem. Took me awhile to realize this was a problem. I just thought the developers weren't being very imaginitive Love to hear if there is a fix for this. It does hurt the scenery alot.

..back again, have tried reinstalling game several times, no help whatsoever. I bought the retail version at Best Buy and have used the lastest patches. I'm pretty sure this glitch is in the game, and has nothing to do witn my (beastly)gaming rig.

Once again, if anyone has heard of fix, please post it here. That would be awesome.

I have tried reinstalling as well, as well as adjusting settings, deleting temp files - no luck so far. I have the download version and had the problem under 1.0x as well as the beta 1.1. I sent an email to support, so maybe Stardock will respond. Would be good if there is a way to fix.
