Bugs i found yet

Hi!

Great game. Unfortunately i encountered some bugs in the last time. i will describe all i can remember here.
ok:

- 1 crash to desktop.

- 1 freeze on diplomatic screen while talking to the yor. i played with the options while suddenly the game freezes (including the animated portrait) while mousecursor and music still functioned. taskmanager was callable but covered by the game so that i cant see where to click (but i had the resize-window-cursor at the edges of the invisible taskmanager). so i rebooted.

- strange behaviour of my citizens. i had 33% taxes. i run into money problems as the galactic senat (or how is it called) decided to use 2000c for making people happier. i had ~ -1800c and raised the taxes to maximum to get money back. my people were upset. i had ~14 approval. after being rich again i lowered the taxes to 45% and suddenly people loved me. 100% approval. i think its weired that people i stole all money love me when i lower the taxes to a level higher as 10 weeks before

- strange custom race problems. i created a custom race. when i entered the custom race screen and removed ALL abilities, and techs i still found +6% logistics on abilities overview. i added my techs, warparty, abilities "weapons true warroir", "defense master" and "hitpoints superior". so i had the bonusses from them +6% logistics. where the hell does this come from? but not enough i saved the race, loaded it next day again and had: the abilities i should have PLUS 10% logistics AND 20% build military O_o i removed EVERYTHING and had +4% on logistics now. i added my weapon, hitpoints, defense abilities saved and loaded and had the same +20% military again. i think the whole custom race thingie is bugged...

- after espionage you can see other races abilities in some window. when u click the category below "abilities" and then on abilities again you get a black abilities window instead of the abilities again.

thats what i found in 4 games yet.

i hope this helps. the next bugs i try to describe better
i would like to add my debug.err but i cannot upload it anywhere. so the crash bug-reports seem to be not very useful... :( sorry. regards

i wanted to add the fact that i cant upload by debug.err to the forum and i dont have webspace. i htink the crash error reports in my post are quiet useless this way

it's only a txt file - you can open it in notepad and copy & paste it...

unfortunately it seems that the debug.err is deleted on every crash and not rewritten.
my last crash occured just some minutes before. i was creating a campaign game and alt-tabbed out of the game to surf the internet while the game was on the briefing-screen of the very first mission. when after some time i alt-tabbed back it says that the application encountered a error and needs to be closed.

my debug.err:

bug #2 is not a bug, when you start upping your taxes way too high (you said you had a global approval rate of 14) the number of registred cetisent paying taxes will pummel and as a rule, less population is easier to please so you might have 100% approval but lost bilions of taxpayers wich will gradually come back as long as they are happy enough (for experiance, the pop of a planet start to stabilise around 50-40% approuval, under that it shrink and over it grow (until max pop is acheived). The more unhappy or the more happy, the more important the pop change will be that why you need to keep your pop happy all the time even if it mean losing money or reducing industrial capacity because less citisent mean less taxes wich in turn mean less money. I always try to keep my approval rate above 70% and when I can above 80% global. Also, look out for planet with massive population, the more you have the harder it is to please. At around 20bilions on a planet, they become harder and harder to please.

A good rule for me when it comes to happiness is to always include an "happy" improvement on all my world and on those econo world, one farm for one happy and another happy for the colony center.

Just my two cents.
