Maby a stupid question, but how can I use ship designs (ship classes) from an earlier game with an other race?

for example: Yestreday I spend hours designing a ship playing as humans (with the human ship style obviously).
Today I would like to use the same design in a custom race game also using the human ship style.

The question is: how?

Choose the Terran hulls when creating your custom race. You should then have access to your custom Terran ships you made in your new game once you get the appropriate technology.

Pokerface, thanks! But no, they do't show up in my ship list. even when the tech recuirements are met.

It doesn't matter what design really, I've had Yor custom ships used by humans. They begin to look weird. But you need miniturisation etc, don't forget that

Yeh I've run into that problem. I don't think the technology browser displays all the tech requirements.

Normal games and Metaverse games use different ship lists as well.

I've built and saved basically empty hulls and they still haven't showed up in my ship list when I go to the next game.

Aerion Istari, that's exactly my point. And not only with empty hulls. Fully equiped or empty makes no difference.

When I look in the ships directory the .shipclass and .shipcfg files are there. They just won't show up in the game.

There's one variable I thought of: I'm playing with a different collor scheme. But........ nah! Can't be
