Sometimes can't form fleets

Sometimes the game won't let me form fleets even though there are ample logistic points. Once it formed empy squares with zeroes undedneth them where the logitic number should be. Afterwards there were little squares on the grid where that happened. There have two or three other times where I couldn't form fleets, but no empty boxex or sqaures - clearly a bug.

Hmmm, never had that happening to me, only the denial when I didn't have enough logistic points.

Just a quick question, does this happen with different races or one in particular and what race were you playing when this happened?

Happens to me from time to time on a Custom Race, Gigantic Universe, Abundant Everything + 6 players usually restarting the game helps.

I've had the same thing, custom race. Save and restart will flush it out.

One thing I've noticed is that the bug seems to follow one ship in the stack. For example I have 3 Battlestars in the same vicinity (yes I'm a BSG geek). Battlestar A and Battlestar B are in the same stack but cannot form a fleet. I move Battlestar A to Battlestar C's square and find they they cannot form a fleet either. However when I move Battlestar B to Battlestar C's square they can form a fleet. This would suggest that the problem is with Battlestar A's state.

Also, this has happened to me as the Terrans and the Yor.

I have had it happen too. It happens for me when I have a fleet with a transport in it, and I attack with that fleet. If I win/lose, and lose the transport, the remaining ships will no longer be able to form a new fleet for some reason.

EDIT: What I meant by attack, was to do a planetary invasion. If I invade a planet with a fleet that has both transports and other ships, the other ships will not be able to form a new fleet after the invasion.

I had the same thing happen with a starbase. Created an Influence SB, and the game created an empty box in the square with a "0" on it. This was very annoying for the rest of that game, as I prefer to name my SBs regionally for tracking, and was unable to rename due to the display refusing to allow access to such options with something else on the same square ... even if it was a 0 something.
