I installed GC2 on a second computer so I could play in the kitchen too. (Don't ask.) Unfortunately the game kept crashing on startup. After some digging I've traced the problem to the fact that I use TweakUI to set the "My Documents" folder to a mounted network drive on my first computer (i.e. both computers use the same folder and hard drive for "My Documents"). The first computer uses 1920x1200 resolution. The second therefore tries to use the same prefs.ini created by the first computer but crashes becuase neither the monitor or video card supports this resolution. Editing the resolution down fixes the problem.
Is there any way I can manually tell GalCiv2 to use a different directory for prefs.ini so I can go back to 1920 on my first computer?
