No text in main menu screen

the game loads up correctly, I see the movie, but at the main menu there is no text... I can click the buttons, but no button has text on them... in the game, research is having the same problem... probably just a button problem, how can I solve this? By the way, drivers good, computer great...

The problem suddenly disappeared(just like it came suddenly). I did nothing special, no idea what caused it or what solved it, strange problem

I am having the same problem, and noticed from your debug that I have the same video card as you... Maybe it's related to the video card? Although, mine has yet to magically fix itself since I updated to 1.1 Beta 2... Any ideas on what you MAY have done to fix the problem?

Between the moment it worked and when it didn't do a lot. I played some civ4, norton anti-virus did it's regular scan and because it found some adware in my temp folders, cleared I all my temp folders(both the windows directory one and the one in "my documents") . Their was also a reboot but previous reboots didn't solved the problem.

Can everyone having this issue try getting the latest drivers for their video cards? Lockiel, your drivers are actually from 2003, so I have a feeling that may be a major contributing factor As for everyone else, we can see if this fixes the problem

I have this problem as well, and my drivers are new, so i dont think that's the problem

Having the same issue.

1) I uninstalled the application .. then reloaded it
2) I uninstalled that and reloaded an older version (and the older version also now has the same problem)
3) uninstalled the older version deleted all files and folders in Stardock folders (renamed saved games folder) Then reinstalled from archive

Nada. Going to check current drivers then repost.

Ok, one thing I did not metion is that I updated Stardock Client.. now after reboot everything is working fine. .. probably go ahead and update my drivers also.. but just to note rebooting fixed the issue for me.

Debug message as follows.

An update: Restarting + running w/o other programs fixed the problem.

I had firefox, winamp and emule open before when it did not work.
Visually, I run the game at 1024 x 1280, and not in fullscreen mode.

Problem cleared up on its own. I hadn't updated my drivers (yikes, they are old:-). I restarted my computer (ok, shut it down for the night and came back), and the problem is gone.
