Sector Influence View

Hey all,

I did a search under influence but didnt find a question regarding this and a cursory search through the manual yielded nothing either.

I remember in GalCiv1, if you hovered over a part of the screen with your mouse (might have been the sector grid number) you got a pop-up showing the amount of influnce each race had in that sector. In GalCiv2 this seems to be missing. is this something that just got left out, or is it to do with the border being more dynamic? Reason is sometimes I am not sure why my border moves when it does, since I dont know relatively how I compare in my culture/influence to a neighbouring race.

Any ideas?

I don't know of any such feature. . . However, if your espionage with another civ is at least at "Low", you can click on their planets to see how much influence each produces.

GC1 had sector influence, while GC2 uses a parcec influence. I think that they took out that feature, because the units are so small. (I was wondering the same thing.)
