Video problems

When i start the game it goes black and i see nothing. I can hear the game but no video. I have Direct X9c and run my computer with a GEforce 5500 video card. Can anyone help me with this problems.

Check NVidia's website and make sure you have the newest video drivers installed. If it doesn't work after that, post the contents of your debug.err file, which is found in the GalCiv2 directory.

I check the website and they didnt have any more downloads. I can't find the directory, where do i find that so i can post the debug.err file. Thank you for any help anyone can provide

It's where you installed the game. I think the default location is somewhere in your Program Files directory. . .
